農水省は５日、農山漁村の景観を悪化させる廃棄物の不法投棄など違法な農地転用を早期に発見するため、各地方農政局ごとに民間非営利団体（ＮＰＯ）などと連携した「きれいな田舎まもり隊」（仮称）を整備することを決めた。
農山漁村では、過疎化や高齢化の進行に伴い、農林漁業者を中心とする集落住民で維持管理してきた農地や山林の整備が行き届かなくなっている。そのためごみの不法投棄が横行するなど、伝統的な農村風景が損なわれている。
農水省は、本年度内に全国７つの地方農政局や都道府県、市町村、農業委員会とＮＰＯが連携した連絡支援体制の田舎まもり隊を組織し、農山漁村の景観悪化の点検活動を支援していく。（共同通信）
