前にJBAの方向性について何度か議論になったとき以来、自分のJBAに対するモチベーションは萎んでいってしまったのだけれど、とうとうこのような結果になったいま、去年JBAが立ち上がる時に設立メンバー一同集まって話していた時の熱を思い出す。
ここのようなある程度なんでもありで、顔見知りでやっているようなちゃんぽんブログであればいろいろやっていてもあまり問題にならない（どうでもいいと受け取られる）のかもしれないけど、「JAPAN」を語ってあのような経緯で作られたブログである以上、メンバー間の合意形成がうまくいかずに迷走した状態で続けていくことはやはり困難なのだと思う。
正直独りでパブリ続けているmakoさんを見ていてとても複雑な気持だった。痛かった。なにもヘルプしなくてごめん。いまさら。
makoさんがPop-spaceを閉めてJBAにパブり続けている姿を見て、なんだかやりきれない気持になったけれど、あの時もしかしたら閉めるべきはJBAであって、Pop-spaceではなかったのかもしれないと思う。（復活したけどね。ブログじゃないよ）

JBAが立ち上がってしばらくしてから、ブログはやっぱり個人のモチベーションとコミットメントが核となることで一番うまく機能するものだと思った。
「みんなで分担パブリッシュ＆メンテ」って思っているほど簡単じゃなかった。特に自分のブログをやりながらというのは。
JBAの（もともとの）趣旨のようなサイトは、各々のブログからJBAのテーマに合ったようなエントリをRSS的に引っ張ってきて表示したり、アーカイブ化したりというような形のほうがうまくいったのかもしれない。引っ張ってくるものの選択とかどうするのかちょっとよくわからないけど、なんかJBA用のタグ（開発？）とかなんとかをエントリにくっつけてパブることでそれがJBAにヘッドライン的に表示されて、ソースであるブログに飛ぶみたいな。そうすることで、メンバー登録とかそういったのを抜きに、いろんなブロガーが自分のエントリをポストする時に「これはJBAにもパブってみっか。ポチっ」みたいなことで有益なコンテンツが集まった可能性もある。
または、いくつかのラインで（「日本語化」とか「trackback」とか）元となるエントリをきっちり用意しておいて、あとはトラックバックのみを各々のブログから募ってゆくようなやりかた（メンバーもトラックバックPing部隊のノリで）とか．．．。膨大な数のトラックバックが収束・放射するトラックバックのターミナル的なエントリのセットとしてJBAは存在するみたいな。（こっちのほうが簡単だしおもろいかな。）

JBAはとりあえずクローズすることになったけれど、コミュニティー（マルチオーサー）ブログの可能性ってすごい大きいと思っているし、これからたくさんのグループ、組織がブログを活用しておもしろいことがおこってくると期待している。いろいろ学んだこともあるので、これからに活かしていきたい。
