『結果が、最初の思惑どうりにならなくても、そこで過ごした時間は確実に存在する。そして最後に意味を持つのは、結果ではなく、過ごしてしまった、かけがいのないその時間である。
頬を撫でる北極の風の感触、夏のツンドラの甘い匂い、白夜の淡い光、見過ごしてしそうな小さな忘れな草のたたずまい・・・ふと立ち止まり、少し気持ちを込めて、五感の記憶の中にそんな風景を残してゆきたい。何も生み出すことのない、ただ流れてゆく時を大切にしたい。あわただしい人間の営みと平行して、もう一つの時間が流れていることを、いつも心のどこかで感じていたい。
