Perfoma5220生き返らせる方法は？

Perfoma5220生き返らせたいんだけど
Ethernetカードはいれた
メモリは増設した
しかし多分ＯＳ＆ブラウザが重すぎで、有線ブロードを生かしきれず、のろのろ。
今はほんのたまにＴＶ見るくらいにしか使ってない。

少なくともネットで使いたいんだけど、
これでも快適に走るブラウザってあんの？
そもそもＯＳはどの辺つかえばいいんかいな・・
8.0使って話にならん遅さだったので
7.5.1に戻したけどこれもじぇんじぇんのろのろ。

早いＨＤ載せられるだけ載せてソフトレイドかけてあげれば
結構変わるんじゃない？

7.5 の安定版は 7.5.3 だった。
アップデーター出てるからかけてみて。
多少は改善されてると思うから。

その世代のマシンだと、G3 カード入れてあげるのが一番いいよ。とおもったら、5220 はアーキテクチャが一時しのぎなもんで、アップグレードカードすら見当たらない。68k 用の設計のボードに無理やり PowerPC 載せてあるみたいね。クロックアップもできるらしいけどこれはそのまま使うのが一番っぽいね。


ブラウザーは iCab っていうのが軽くていいです。
