Nuclear power, as well as wars between nations,
and it's demonic savageness should be known and
informed more to the people.

I guess if you see the pic, you cannot stop
wanting to know what is behind it, thus one
can be informed and can inform others as well.

Stopping this flow is against human compassion.

アメリカ生活もかなりあったので
これ以上の攻撃は確実に
悲劇のテロをまたおこしてしまうだろうと
おもい

日本全体は今ひとつ注目してないようですが
運動団体もいくつかあるようです
ぼくもＢＬＯＧの着目点は日記使用よりも

新しい戦争に対抗して立ち上がった反戦・反人種差別連合体「International A.N.S.W.E.R.」
　ブッシュ政権がアフガニスタンへの軍事作戦に突き進むなかで、危機感を感じた市民達は各地の平和活動団体を中心に集まり、さらにそれが全米的な連合体組織として誕生した。「戦争と人種差別がその答えではない」（War & Racism AreNot the Answer！）という明解なメッセージを掲げて誕生したこの団体の緊急プレス・リリースは、デモの五日前の9月24日に行われている。正式名称は「戦争を止め、人種差別を無くすため、いま行動を」(Act Now to Stop War & EndRacism)というもので、英語の頭文字をとって「ANSWER（アンサー）」と呼んでいる。なかなか洒落た名前と感心していたら、急遽つくられた連合体であったにも拘らず、名前が発表された時には既にマス・デモンストレーションが予定されていたので驚いてしまった。
　この連合体の母体となっているのは、ニューョークに本部のある「インターナショナル・アクション・センター」（以下、IAC）である。この団体は数ヶ月前から、9月29日と30日に予定されていた世界銀行とIMFの総会に抗議する目的で「ホワイト・ハウス包囲集会」を計画していたという。9月11日後にその総会が中止となり、反IMF・世界銀行のデモへ参加を予定していた各団体がワシントン行きを取り止める中で、IACはデモの目的を反戦と反人種差別に変えて29日のデモの準備を進めてきたということである。
　最近、イタリアのジェノバにおけるG8サミットへの抗議デモで死亡者を出した後だけに、厳重な警備の中で実施された反戦デモの群集を平和的な行動へと導き、終了させることが出来たのは、やはりマス・デモンストレーションの組織化に慣れた彼らの経験と努力の結果と称賛したい。
