これ（blog）は気の利いた掲示板みたいなものでさ。

即時性もありつつDBみたくもあり、カテゴリの割り当て方でマトリックスがうまれてく。
一度投稿した書き込みもがんがん編集できちゃう。みんなで一つのblogを立ち上げてつかう（ここみたくね）ことも、ひとりでいくつものblogを立ち上げて同時に使い分ける（たとえば ココ は英語と日本語で二本立て）こともできる。
敷居が低いだけにこれから伸びると思うな、このへんは。
2chとは別のレイヤーのコミュニティが生まれてくよね。きっと。

（たかとくんが）昨日してくれた書き込みは（レス）、commentと呼ばれていて、それに対して自分で新規に書き込みをする（スレ立てる）のはnew entryと呼ばれているのね。で、スレ立てることをpost entryとか表現している。まぁ言葉の問題だからぜんぜん深くないんだけど、インターフェースが英語なんで、そのへん混乱しなければOKとおもう

返信（レス）＝comment

で、スレを立てるのは：
ログイン（ユーザー名 & パスワード）する → ログイン画面 （既にログインしている場合はMain Menuになる）
↓
画面左の[new entry]アイコン
↓
まぁあとは普通です。書き込みしてください。タグも貼れます。
あと、だいたいなかんじで説明すると...

「New Entry」 新規書き込み
Title - タイトル入力（タグOK）
Entry Body - 文章を入力（タグOK）。ここのフィールドに入れたものがトップページに出てくる。（タグはEntry bodyフィールド右上のボタンを使っていれることができる。タグ付けしたい文字を選択した状態でボタンを押す。左からBold、Indent、Underline、Hyperlink）
Extended Entry - ここに入れたものはトップページでは「MORE...」ってリンクで出てきてリンクをクリックすると全部出てくる。 (as you just did it now...)
Excerpt - ここに入れた文章はMTEntryExcerpt tagというのを使うことによって、要約や引用として利用できる（まだ利用したことない）
Post Status - Publishだと有効。Draftだと下書き扱いでWeb上には出力されない。
他にはPrimary Categoryのプルダウンでどんなカテゴリにいちばん関係しているかを選択できる。（別にしなくてもいいけど、選んでおいた方が、カテゴリからもリンクが効くし便利。適当なカテゴリがない場合は自分でカテゴリを足すことができる。↓の「Edit Entry」内の説明を参照）
あとはあまり関係ない（ことない）けど、まだあまり良く分かってないです、自分でも。
「Edit Entry」 既に書き込んだものの編集
List & Edit Entries画面の上のほうにあるのは表示させる書き込みを絞り込むためのフィルタ（例：カテゴリが〜のとか、誰々が書き込んだ..とか）です。まだ書き込み数がそんなに多くないから問題ないけど、増えてくるとこれで狙いをつけないと探すのが大変だと思う。
***注***
今現在（11/15/2002）は元の文が日本語だとTitle及び編集画面で化けてしまっているので、どれがどれだか分からない場合はその他の情報（category/date/author...等）を頼りに確認してください。（とりあえず編集したいもののTitle部分をクリックしてEdit Entry画面に...）

Edit Entry画面では以前した書き込み（もし許可されているユーザーなら、自分のも & 人のも）をいじくれます。上述のように日本語のEntryの場合は文字が化けているはず。これだとそもそもこのEntryが自分の編集したいものなのかどうか、どこをどう編集していいかわからないので、画面の上のほうのPreviewボタンを押してみる。そうすると日本語でちゃんと表示されるはずなので、それをコピーして[RE-EDIT THIS ENTRY]ボタンを押してさっきの画面に戻ってペースト。
***注***
もしも以前の書き込みにリンクのタグが入っていた場合、Previewからペーストしなおすとタグが消えてしまうのでその場合はもういちどタグを付け直さなくてはいけない

編集画面ではNew entryの時に関連付けたカテゴリを複数に増やすことができる。
[Primary category]のとなりに[assign multiple categories]があるので、それをクリックして画面左側のリストから右側に移す感じで。
適当なカテゴリがない場合、メニューの「Category」へ行って、画面一番下にあるフィールドのなかにあたらく作りたいカテゴリ名を入力して[Save]する。
編集し終わったら[Preview]ボタンのとなりにある[Save]ボタンを押す。これで変更が反映される。（カテゴリなどを編集した場合は左のメニューの[Rebuidl Site]ボタンを押す。[Rebuild all files]選択して[Rebuild]を押せばすべての画面に変更が反映される。）
基本的にはこんなところかな。
まだ自分も始めたばかりでよくわからんのですが、質問があったらPostして。
